Please join us Friday evening, May 10, during regular youth group hours (7:00-9:00pm) as we participate in a 72 Hour Bible Reading Challenge that is being hosted by our young adults ministry, The Purpose. This event is taking place all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 9-11. The goal is simple: to read through the entire Bible collectively as a church, around the clock within 72 hours. Feel free to participate in more of this event as your schedule allows. More details are available on The Purpose Facebook page.
Students are invited to get away from the busyness of life for a few days to enjoy the calm of nature, relaxed activities, and bonfires. We’ll spend a bit of each morning and evening listening to great bible teaching and praying together. One of the best thing about this trip, as heard from students last year, is the opportunity to make lasting memories with each other and reflect on your relationship with God.
Our theme for this year is “Dangerously Influential” and we’ll be studying the book of 2 Timothy during our group sessions. We’ll also provide devotional booklets for individual use that will help us further engage the idea of being influential for God right now.
To register for Youth Retreat 2019, complete and submit each of the following forms you have not already submitted, along with full payment of $100. Originaly the cost was $250, but we were able to greatly decrease this number by making changes to our transportation arrangements as well as selling donuts at church these past few Sundays.
