On two Fridays this semester, we will host a movie night from 6:00-9:00pm. Movie nights are an opportunity to have fun together, but also to think critically. The goal is to cultivate a greater understanding of different worldviews and compare and contrast them with a Christian worldview as shaped by God and the Bible. The beliefs and themes of different worldviews are often reflected heavily in music, film, literature, and other forms of entertainment.
Movie Night instructions:
- Bring a friend.
- Bring your favorite candy, snack, or drink.
- Eat some pizza (it’s on us).
- Watch a movie.
- Discuss the movie.
October 11: “The Village” by M. Night Shyamalan, hosted by Josh and Sally Samuel.
November 15: stay tuned for more details.
