NorthLife Youth is the student ministry of NorthLife Fellowship Baptist Church
to make disciples of Jesus in fort mcmurray and the world
to be a family of nations loving God together
We’ve designed a process to help students in grades 7-12 follow Jesus by moving through these stages of spiritual development
gather | worship God with all kinds of people
grow | be vulnerable with Jesus and each other
give | build up the church with your spiritual gifts
go | share the gospel with the world
Join all the believers in our church for a weekly Celebration Service. We worship God together with singing and Bible preaching on Sunday at 10:30am.
Join other students and awesome adult leaders during the school year for a weekly dinner and Bible study. We talk, pray, and hang out at a different home every Friday from 6:00-9:00pm.
Join the weekly volunteer program called Leaders In Training (LIT). LIT is a starting point for students to discover the spiritual gifts God has given them. Every Sunday morning students can partner with a wonderful team of adults in different areas such as greeting people at the front doors, ushering in the sanctuary, serving coffee, teaching children’s classes, operating the presentation software in our tech booth, etc.
Join the biggest mission ever: sharing the good news about Jesus with the people in your school, neighborhood, city, region, and the world. Besides ongoing interactions with friends and neighbors, take advantage of the opportunity to help out in our Soup Kitchen which regularly serves hot lunches to people in need in Fort McMurray. There will also be the occasional mission trip within Alberta or to another country, such as Honduras.
The blog is the main source of information for all things concerning the ministry of NorthLife Youth. At the beginning of each week we upload a new blog post featuring a summary of what has taken place in youth group and a look at upcoming events. Periodically we will provide resources for parents and families such as articles, videos, podcasts, and book recommendations.
Throughout the year we will meet in the following homes. The spring calendar includes where we will meet each week.
