Some students dread the start of another school year.
Academic types can’t wait to get studying again so they’re one step closer to university.
Others simply miss seeing their friends every single day.
The important thing is that you get to go to youth group again every Friday evening. To help ease the pain of saying goodbye to summer, we’ve decided to have a party at the Legarees’ house downtown. Join us at 23 Ells Crescent from 7:00-9:00pm to eat hot dogs and s’mores, play a couple group games, and hear what’s planned for the coming year. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend who is curious about God and church!
Youth Group Resumes
On September 1 we begin our weekly gathering. We’re kicking the year off with a 4-week teaching series on prayers in the Bible. We’ll look at examples of prayer from both the Old and New Testaments that teach us about adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. We hope to encourage students in their prayer lives by acknowledging the many different ways we can relate to God daily.
This past Sunday we held a meeting to inform parents of our plans for the year. We also promised to provide the tentative semester schedules as well as the student forms that must be completed and submitted in order for your student/s to participate in any youth programming. Here are those schedules and forms!
